This was the best thing ever for your dutch oven. Highly recommended. I used it 2 times this weekend and I got all kinds of compliments on it!

I received the unit quickly and exactly as described. It appears to be quite sturdy and useful. I really think it will work well out camping.

This stand seems to be made of good quality material. It is specifically made for a 12" oven but it can be adapted to other sizes. I just got back from a camping trip with my friends, and this thing does work wonders. It made cooking outdoors so much easier as it not only functions as a lid remover & holder but also as a serving stand. It kept our food warm and no specks of dirt.

If you can't tell from the pictures the center hook is spring-loaded. You push it down, catch the lid handle and it lifts the lid and secures it to the metal hooks that stick out from the legs. This allows you to pin the lid and set it down without having the lid lose any coals or touch the ground! No ashes or dirt in your food. I've now bought a second one since using the first. I still use a traditional lifter to rotate the lid, but for lid removal, this is the best. It also folds up and can fit inside some ovens for transport.
